LG’s latest contribution to the mobile market is its new touchscreen device – the LG KM900 Arena. It is an attractive piece can easily impress mobile lovers with its quality construction.
LG KM900 Arena is the first mobile in the global market which boasts of the Dolby Mobile audio system. It supports LG’s new S-Class 3D user interface and has given a tough competition to other touchscreen mobiles in the market. Let us have a look at how Arena is different from its rivals.
In most of the touchscreen phones, the screen covers most of the mobile part because of its shape and size but at the same time, it makes the piece slim and light weight. Though Arena is not completely different, it measures 105.9 x 55.3 x 11.95 mm in size and weighs only 105g and thus, makes for a perfect handset which can easily go in the pocket. The 3-inch WVGA screen with 480 x 800 pixels of the LG KM900 Arena displays 16 million colours which are very bright even indoors with its capacitive touchscreen (INFO) unit.
Below the screen are three touch-pad keys for the Home Screen/Multi Tasking menu, call-send, and call- end. There is a pin hole beneath it for the microphone and an ear piece and a camera to capture the videos are located above the display. A brush metal finish has been given to the front of the piece with chromium polish on its edges. For recording the videos, there is one more button at the bottom for the microphone. Along with a single LED flash, a 5 Megapixel camera is fixed in the handset which has Schneider-kreuznach camera lens.
This latest mobile phone is loaded with KM900’s power button to loosen the rear cover. There is nothing at the bottom part of the phone. The camera shutters are on the right side of the piece and data port and proprietary power are on its left.
